Is becoming an air conditioning heating and refrigeration technician a good career to get into?

I am in BLET now and im drifting away from it im not wanting do that path anymore and im thinking about going to school to become a Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technician if anyone can tell me about this career i would appreciate it thanks.

It's a great career. Always in demand and recession proof.

It is really a great career choice, especially if you get certified to doing newer units as well as the older ones. Ten years ago, my dad was making $ 20 an hour (though he did have over 20yrs experience). Now I know they make more than that. It is recession proof, you don't have to worry about layoffs, and honestly you get a much deserved break about twice a year (spring and fall, when its not too hot nor too cold).
